Sara R. Sexe

Sara was born in Nebraska and was raised in Great Falls. She graduated from the University of Montana in 1989 with a Bachelors Degree in political science. During undergraduate school, she was a member of the University of Montana track team. She continued to compete for the UM team when she entered the U of M School of Law. While in her second year of law school, she became the first member of the Mountain West Track Club, for which she was running when she qualified for the 1988 Olympic Trials in Indianapolis, Indiana. She later was inducted into the University of Montana Grizzly Sports Hall of Fame.

Sara earned her Juris Doctor Degree in 1989. She began practicing law in Great Falls the same year.  Sara's practice has emphasized litigation in the areas of personal injury and insurance law. She has worked extensively in the field of Workers' Compensation, representing both injured workers and insurers. She is rated BV in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Sara judges for the State Fair 4H horse show, speaks at local schools about the law profession, is on the working board of a children's theatre guild, and coaches for her children's various sports teams. Sara and her husband, Doug, have two children.
